The conference’s fifth edition discussed in particular on the following four main topics: the establishment of the Alcide De Gasperi Research Centre; Europe’s place in the world; a new Schuman Declaration for the 21st century; and the impact of surveillance in Europe. Read more.
The State of the Union 2014
The 2014 conference saw Matteo Renzi return as prime minister to join discussions on the social and political model of Europe and the European Elections. The event also included a live televised debate between European Commission presidency candidates. Read more.
