Chair, Round Table for Sustainable Development, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development
Connie Hedegaard is Chair of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development’s Round Table for Sustainable Development (OECD). She was formerly European Commissioner for Climate Action (2010 – 2014). Prior to her position as Commissioner, she was Minister for The United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (2009), Danish Minister of Climate and Energy (2007-2009), and Danish Minister for Environment (2004-2007). She was also an elected Member of the Danish Parliament (1984-1990 and2005-2009). She is presently Chair of and Board Member in various organisations and committees. Among others, she is Member of the Board of European Climate Foundation, Member of the Sustainability Council of Volkswagen, and Chair of the Board for the green think tank CONCITO.
