Executive Director, Partnership for Economic Policy and Professor of Economics, University of Nairobi
Jane Kabubo-Mariara is Executive Director of the Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) since 2016. She is Professor of Economics at the University of Nairobi, where she served as the Director of the School of Economics (2010-2016). Currently, she is member of the Central Bank of Kenya’s Monetary Policy Committee and the German Institute of Global and Area Studies (GIGA) Advisory Board and Interim President of the African Association of Ecological Economists (ASEE). Previously, she served as an acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research, Production and Extension at the University of Nairobi. Kabubo-Mariara has been an integral member of the international scientific community and an expert with the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services and a Member of the Kenneth E. Boulding Memorial Award Nominations Committee.
