Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Islamic Republic of Iran
Seyed Mohammad-Kazem Sajjadpour is Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and President of the Iranian Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS). From 2013 to 2016 he was Advisor to the Minister Foreign Affairs on Strategic Issues. Between 2003 and 2004 he was Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations. Prior to this, he was the Director of the Institute for Political and International Studies, the research branch of Iran’s Foreign Ministry. He has also taught at the College of International Relations of Tehran University, Azad University and Iran’s National Defense University.
