Méabh Mc Mahon

Méabh Mc Mahon is a Europe correspondent for Euronews in the Brussels bureau. She closely follows the political development of the EU institutions, including policy announcements, European Parliament plenaries, the response to the coronavirus crisis, EU-UK relations and other foreign policy issues. She also covers local and regional news in the Benelux area. Mc Mahon has interviewed prominent figures including US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, European Commissioner Mairead McGuinness, European Medicines Agency (EMA) Executive Director Emer Cooke and former Irish president Mary Robinson. In the build-up to the 2019 European elections, she took part in Euronews’ Road Trip Europe around the continent to hear first-hand from European citizens about their concerns and aspirations. Mc Mahon holds a B.A. in European Studies from Trinity College, Dublin.
