Leslie Vinjamuri

Director, US and the Americas Programme; Dean, Queen Elizabeth II Academy for Leadership in International Affairs, Chatham House

Leslie Vinjamuri is Director of the US and Americas Programme and Dean of the Queen Elizabeth II Academy for Leadership in International Affairs at Chatham House. Vinjamuri is also Reader in International Relations in the Department of Politics and International Studies, SOAS University of London, since 2018. She was (founding) Co-Director (2011-2016) then Director (from 2016) of the Centre for the International Politics of Conflict, Rights and Justice, SOAS. She is a Commissioner for the Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission, a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and on the Board of Advisors of the Institute for Integrated Transitions, and on the Advisory Board of LSE IDEAS. Vinjamuri has published numerous articles in leading journals of international affairs and is a regular contributor to international news media. Her co-edited book, Human Rights Futures, was published by Cambridge University Press in 2017.
