Alexandre Stutzmann

Alexandre Stutzmann joined the European Parliament General Secretariat in 2001, first as spokesperson in DG Communication, then as policy adviser to the Foreign Affairs Committee, and from 2007 to 2014 as diplomatic adviser to presidents Hans-Gert Pöttering, Jerzy Buzek and Martin Schulz. In 2014, he became Head of Secretariat of the Foreign Affairs Committees and since December 2015 he is Director for parliamentary committees in the field of external policies. He graduated in German studies, political science and law from the Ecole Normale Supérieure and the Sorbonne University in Paris and was a postgraduate scholar at the EUI in 1997-2001.
