Philippe Van Parijs is a guest professor at the Universities of Louvain and Leuven. He was the founding director of Louvain’s Hoover Chair of Economic and Social Ethics (1991 – 2016), a visiting professor at Harvard University (2004 – 2008) and at the University of Oxford (2011 – 2015). His books include Real Freedom for All (1995), Just Democracy (2011), Linguistic Justice for Europe and for the World (2011), After the Storm: How to Save Democracy in Europe (2015, editor with L. van Middelaar), Basic Income. A radical proposal for a free society and a sane economy (2017, with Y. Vanderborght) and Belgium: Une utopie pour notre temps (2018).
