The Alcide De Gasperi Research Centre Opening Ceremony
in the presence of Maria Romana De Gasperi
The Opening Ceremony marks the launch of the Alcide De Gasperi Research Centre on the History of European Integration, at the Historical Archives of the European Union. This research centre is meant to promote innovative research, facilitating the use of primary sources and coordinating networks of historians to stimulate publications on the history of European integration. The establishment of a centre, named after De Gasperi, reflects the EUI’s recognition of the people who helped shape Europe as we know it.
