Stefan Marschall is Chair of German Politics at the Department of Social Sciences of the Heinrich-Heine-University, Düsseldorf and Vice Rector for International Relations and Science Communication. His research covers the establishment of the Internet and its implications on political communication and decision-making. Stefan is (founding) convener of the Research Network on Voting Advice Applications of the European Consortium for Political Research and serves as the deputy spokesperson of the “Düsseldorf Institute for Internet and Democracy”. He is PI in the PhD programme „Online Participation“ and in the Manchot-Research Group on “Decision Making by Means of Artificial Intelligence”.
